Robbie Hughes is a 15 year old athlete from Coxsackie New York. He plays soccer in the fall, and is a standout basketball player, where he focuses his passion. As a sophomore at CAHS (Coxsackie-Athens High School) he is in his second year of varsity as a point guard. He juggles school; work & sports with ambitions to make it to the highest levels of ball being both D1 college and the NBA. Him and his team’s recent victory was against Rensselaer and they came back from being down by 11 points. During this game Robbie shot 7 for 7 at the free throw and secured the win with 22 points and 9 rebounds. They visited Rival Watervliet last week and took a loss in a well fought battle. Hughes dropped 13 points, had 5 rebounds and 4 assists. We expect big things from Robbie and project a bright future for this young star. Follow him on instagram.
