Former Las Vegas Wide Receiver Henry Ruggs III was reportedly driving over 155 MPH in his car accident leaving a woman killed.
Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Joe M. Bonaventure stated that on his long tenure on the bench of over 16 years he hasn’t covered a case with someone traveling at that speed which left him at awe.
According to police, the young lady who was involved in the crash was Tina O. Tintor who died in the fiery wreckage with her dog in her Toyota RAV4. She was only a few blocks away from her house nearby the Las Vegas Strip.
Kiara Je’nai Kilgo-Washington Ruggs’ girlfriend, was identified by police as being in the passenger seat of Ruggs’ Corvette. The 22 year old , of Las Vegas, was also injured in the crash. She underwent surgery Tuesday for a severe arm injury, authorities said.
The Las Vegas Raiders did release Ruggs just hours after the crash and shortly after he was released from a hospital. The serverity of Ruggs injury wasn’t fully listed but information provided suggests he had a neck injury, leg injury and soreness.
Ruggs blood alcohol level makes this a potential felony dui with more than likely severe punishment in the tragic death of this accident.
