Dolph was at a Makeda’s Butter Cookies in Memphis, when a car pulled up and shooter opened fire around 1pm in South Memphis.
Young Dolph who’s real name is Adolph Robert Thornton, Jr. is well known in the Memphis community and has influenced many people from not only Tennessee but all over the world.
With the likes of notable rappers from Memphis like Yo Gotti; Kevin Gates, Juicy J, & Three Six Mafia. His first studio album released was in 2016 called “King Of Memphis” which peaked at number 49 on the Billboard 200 Chart. Also peaked at 35 with a feature on O.T Genesis’ “Cut it” Young Dolph was 36 years old at the time of his passing.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Thornton Jr’s family they’re currently no suspects at this time according to Memphis Police department.
