Macho’s Vision for the Future: Breaking Records and Creating a New Genre of Music

Jadon Clarence, better known by his producer name Macho, is a 21-year-old producer/engineer making waves in the music industry. Having worked with a range of Florida-based artists, including Loe Shimmy, Jaydo 38th, Cglizzy, and Lotto Slim, Macho has become a sought-after producer in his local music scene.

Early Roots and Passion for Music

Macho’s passion for music was sparked by his family’s musical background. He began playing music at a young age of 3, playing drums and bass guitar in his family band called “the Zion Warriors.” They played reggae music and performed twice or even three times a week while Macho was still in elementary school. This upbringing in a musical family has contributed to his love for music creation and production.

Different Approach to Music Production

What sets Macho apart from other American producers today is his different approach to music production. He grew up listening only to reggae music until the 8th grade, giving him an understanding of production techniques used in the 70s and 80s. This background in reggae music gives him an advantage in creating unique sounds and melodies that have never been heard by American listeners.

Future Goals

Macho’s vision for the future is to have a successful music career that can change music history as a whole. He wants to break records and create a new genre of music that everyone can enjoy worldwide. With his passion and dedication to his craft, he is well on his way to achieving these goals.

Motivation

Macho’s motivation comes from his long-standing relationship with music. As a musician for over 13 years, he only strives to get better at the many instruments he plays, including drums, piano, bass guitar, electric guitar, and many percussion instruments. He is also motivated by his relationships with fellow producers and engineers around Broward and Florida, who keep him on his feet and ready for any possible opportunity.

Unique and Humble

What makes Macho unique is his love for reggae music, which he still plays in a reggae band with his brother and lifelong friends. Playing in this band humbles him and reminds him of where he came from, aside from his work in the rap/hip hop community. This passion has brought great opportunities, such as being one of the last bands to play and tour with producer and founding father of reggae Lee “Scratch” Perry.

Macho’s love for music and unique approach to production make him a rising star in the music industry. With his determination and passion, we can expect great things from him in the future
