Dante Pitimada also known as “Chiboki” will be releasing his highly anticipated collaboration album “Hidden Gems” featuring some of Canada’s best-hidden talent. Chiboki wants to display a variety of talent in Canada on his tape he believes needs to be heard across the world. Chiboki who grew up in Brampton, Canada wants to display not only his talent but others around him that he believes people need to hear hence the name “Hidden Gems”. Growing up in Brampton there wasn’t a huge music presence in his city until 2015 when music artists started to become known in different countries. Fast forward to 2021 and the music presence is bigger than ever across Canada and Chiboki wants to use the opportunity to release music. The tape is expected to debut sometime in late November. Meet Dejourr born and raised in Toronto, Canada. Dejourr fell in love with music at a young age, rapping with his friends in basements, studios, rooms, wherever he could record to try and display his talent and love for music. In 2020 Dejourr told himself he was going to take music seriously and dropped his first music video “Humble Beast ” directed by Pro League Films. Dejourr got great feedback and continued applying pressure and dropping music consistently which is what got Chiboki’s attention for his tape. Dejourr has such a unique sound, he can rap on trap beats but also switch it up and go melodic. He displays his talents on the tape in the song “On Hit”.
Brandon Hutchinson also known as “Baby Triz” passion originated from his own inspiration to express himself through music in a unique way. Starting from the ground up, in the city of Toronto, building his sound, brand, and style; Triz has constantly dedicated his time to developing his own unique persona. In doing so, he has put out several projects that embody the flows and styles he has worked with over the years. Triz’s most recent pieces showcase the dark and melodic tones he has undertaken, allowing him to express to the audience what he wants to convey. He writes his music for people to feel where he’s coming from and has showcased that in this piece “Suburban Dude”.
Born and raised in beautiful British Columbia, Raj Khella also known as FastMoney RK is a first-generation Canadian and has been on the grind to make a name for himself. Growing up in Surrey, BC, was a great place to be raised, but according to RK, there is not much of a music scene to tap into. Nevertheless, he persevered in his quest and eventually made his way to Toronto, Ontario, to visit friends in the industry in 2019, where he then discovered a true music scene and real hip-hop culture for the first time. Entranced by the fast-moving way of life in Toronto, RK came to understand what living in abundance is all about. Surrounded by beautiful women, wealthy peers, bottomless bottles at the clubs, and wild afterparties in stunning penthouses, RK decided to get serious about his music and that is when Fastmoney RK came into fruition. FastMoney RK displays a great & unique sound that hasn’t been heard before and he displays his true talents on “Hidden Gems”.
Maliek Edrico, also known as Baby Rico, was born and raised in Brampton, Canada. Growing up a singer in church Baby Rico has always been interested & loved the art of making music. In 2020 baby Rico decided to give music a shot and released his first single “Issa Bout Time”. Baby Rico’s single gained him a lot of popularity throughout the city. Baby Rico has a unique sound and he displays his talents on the tape. Baby Rico plans on keeping the momentum up for the new year, being consistent, and dropping music. Baby Rico never wants anyone to forget or be confused that he couldn’t do any of this without God.
Junior Henry who goes by “Stunna Smoove” Grew up in Brampton, Canada. Growing up with dreams of becoming a musician Stunna Smoove started recording for fun, but once he and his friends realized he had actual talent he began to take it seriously. Stunna Smoove dropped his first song on 6ixBuzzTV and had stellar feedback which motivated him to drop more music. Stunna Smoove displays a groovy style of rap music that is rare to hear, selective with his beats and where he records, Stunna Smoove makes sure everything he drops is going to be top quality music for his fans.
SFTY (pronounced as “750”) is a local upcoming producer from Brampton, Ontario. He was heavily influenced by a wide variety of music sources while growing up which mainly included hip hop, trap, R&B, underground, and rock. His introduction to the world of music production began in high school after taking an introductory course for an elective. However, the high costs required to obtain proper production equipment deterred him from pursuing a career in music shortly after the course had ended. In the later years, he was able to finally build his own home studio and realize his passion for music. He aspires to make a name out for himself within the underground producing community on both a local and international level in the future.
